Workers reporting to a house on Timberdale Drive in Holmdel this morning contacted Holmdel Police after they discovered the home's front door had been pried open and the house ransacked.
The homeowners have been on vacation since October 12, and have been notified by police about what happened.
"We think it happened the same day as the other ones, on DiMisa and Round Hill," said Lt. Michael Smith. (See report.) An investigation at the scene leads police to believe the intruders left through the rear door. There was no burglar alarm, according to police.
Timberdale Drive is a winding cul de sac with homes perched on wooded hills, located off Crawfords Corner Road near the intersection with Red Hill Road/Middletown Road.
Round Hill, where some of the township's most expensive homes are located, is not far away. DiMisa Drive is up off Everett Road, in a leafy neighborhood off near Route 520.
The burglary was not known until today because the homeowners, who have been on vacation since October 12, have not been back to their home. Lt. Smith said it is unknown what has been taken from the house at this time.
