Holmdel Police Blotter: Feb 22-23

The following arrest information was supplied by the Holmdel Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest records released by the Holmdel Police Dept. on Feb. 24, 2012.

  • Feb. 22: Holmdel Police responded to a brush fire behind the Middle Road Shopping Center. The fire began to quickly spread through the dry brush area behind the businesses. The fire was subsequently extinguished by the Holmdel Fire Company. The cause of the fire is unknown and did not appear suspicious. 
  • The Holmdel Police reports that there were approximately 20 motor vehicle burglaries have occurred on the north side of town since February11th. All vehicles were left unlocked and assorted change cash and GPS units were stolen. The investigation is continuing into the crimes.
  • Feb. 23: Nicole Fedi-Lane, 27, of Ironwood Court was arrested and charged for DWI after being stopped for speeding on Van Schoick Rd around 2 a.m. After the police investigation and observation it was determined that Fedi-Lane was driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Holmdel Police Department for processing where she refused breath samples. She was subsequently transported to Bayshore Community Hospital where she consented to giving blood sample. She was processed and released pending her court date.
