Holmdel Police Blotter: Assault and DWI Report

March 4: Erica Martino, 21, of Ocean Grove, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated down after Ptl. Michael Dowens discovered her driving down the wrong side of Miller Avenue, off Route 35. 

At headquarters, during processing, police learned that Martino had been the victim of an earlier assault at the Holmdel Motor Inn. 

Police then arrested John Semmens, 29, of Union Beach and charged him with simple assault.  Bail was set at $2,500 by Municipal Court Judge Casey. Ptl. Mathew Menowski and K-9 Officer William Benard assisted.

Feb. 27: Thomas Caterina, 51, Holmdel NJ was arrested and charged with possession of CDS (marijuana) as a result of a noise complaint on Orchard Avenue.

Feb. 28: Michael Lane, 31, Keansburg NJ was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension by providing false information regarding his identity as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Avenue.
