Holmdel Police Blotter: March 5, April 18-19

The following arrest information was supplied by the Holmdel Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

March 5: A teen, 18, of Deercrest Drive was arrested by Holmdel Police Det. Sgt. Torres and charged with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly took calculators from student backpacks and book bags in the high school library around lunchtime on Feb. 12 and March 1. According to police, an investigation carried out by school administration, using in-house video cameras, captured him going through the bags. Police said he has admitted to the thefts. He was released on his own recognizance, pending a Holmdel Municipal Court date. (The teen's record was expunged.)

A. Banks building.) It was not known when the graffiti was done. One identifiable symbol was the “A” for anarchy with a circle.
