Hazlet Police Answered 1,449 Calls in July
The department reported 87 crime related incidents and 63 non-crime related incidents, with 51 adult arrests and two juvenile arrests.
The Hazlet Township Police Department responded to 1,449 calls in July, according to its monthly report issues to the Mayor and Township Committee.
The department published the report on its active Facebook page for residents. According to the report, 229 offenses were committed including 46 felonies.
The department reported 87 crime related incidents and 63 non-crime related incidents, with 51 adult arrests and two juvenile arrests.
There were seven incidents of domestic violence in July, which resulted in four arrests.
Officers stopped 431 vehicles and issues 414 moving violations, arrested four on DUI charges and investigated 61 accidents. Of those accidents, nine were considered hit-and-run.
Hazlet Police were called to 22 burglary calls and three shoplifting incidents.
