Hazlet Man Indicted For Allegedly Using a Forged Prescription at Walgreens

Police say he forged the prescription to obtain pain killers.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Hazlet man on charges he fraudulently obtained pain killers from a township pharmacy.

Police say Daniel Moeller, 32, allegedly forged a prescription for oxycodone at Walgreens.

He was indicted on two counts, including obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud and uttering a forged instrument.

Both are third degree crimes.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a jury voted there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
