Car Crash at Holmdel Road and Dante's Way. Again.

The driver was unhurt, but faces several motor vehicle charges, including DWI

A man charged with drunk driving crashed into a pole at the intersection of Holmdel Road and Dante's Way -- the same one that was hit in an accident involving a bread truck on Oct. 3, police say.

Anthony Dellapietro, 53, Keansburg was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated by Holmdel Police. He was traveling northbound on Holmdel Road when his 1996 Dodge pickup truck left the roadway and mounted an embankment before striking the utility pole’s guide wire and support.

Dellapietro was located at the scene and was not injured, police said. He was subsequently arrested for DWI and was issued several motor vehicle summonses.
