Belford Man Indicted on Drug Dealing Charges in Holmdel

Sean Figaro, 19, of Middletown was indicted on charges of possession of and intent to distribute marijuana.

A 19-year-old Belford man has been indicted on charges of drug possession and intent to distribute, according to county records.

Sean Figaro, 19, of Middletown was indicted on charges of possession of marijuana, the intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges relate to an alleged Sept. 16 incident.

In July, Figaro was arrested at the Holmdel Motor Inn after police arrived to settle a dispute. Further investigation led Holmdel police to charge Figaro with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. According to Holmdel Police, over $4,000 in cash was seized.

Figaro was previously also arrested in May in Middletown for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An indictment does not indicate absolute guilt or a conviction. It only means that a county grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Guilt or innocence will be tried and determined in a court of law.
