A minivan was left in a dramatic position following a two-car smash on the Garden State Parkway overpass on Holmdel Road Sunday afternoon, near North Beers Street. The vehicle ended up against the fence protecting traffic from Parkway north below.
According to Holmdel Police Cpl. William Cusick, two vehicles sustained front end damage in the crash at around 2:11 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Both drivers had minor injuries. No one requested medical attention.

Both vehicles were towed from the overpass and the accident was cleared at 3:17 p.m.
Holmdel police officers Tom Struble and Michael Dowens handled the call.

The cause of the accident, and the people involved, has not yet been released by police.
