Aberdeen Pair Indicted on Burglary Charge in Holmdel

According to Holmdel Police, the jewelry was recovered at gold buying stores throughout Keansburg and Hazlet.

An Aberdeen man and woman were indicted last week on charges of jewelry theft and burglary, according to county records.

Thomas Gingerelli, 27 and Donna Brucato, 28, of Lloyd Road were arrested in July after allegedly burglarizing a McCampbell Road home on July 5.

The resident reported to police that a suspect had entered her home, leaving with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. According to Holmdel Police, the jewelry was recovered at gold buying stores throughout Keansburg and Hazlet.

Both were indicted on one county of burglary for incidents between June 1 and July 5 in Holmdel, and one count of theft of moveable property for allegedly stealing jewelry in the amount of $12,625.

An indictment does not indicate absolute guilt or a conviction. It only means that a county grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Guilt or innocence will be tried and determined in a court of law.
