Open House with Free 'Try It Week' at The Perna Dance Center

With only 2 weeks until our 26th Annual Production, "QUIET ON THE SET", our Dancers, Teachers and Staff are working almost around the clock to showcase our brightest and best performances we can present to our Family, Friends and the Communities from which we come!  As always, we have music to keep even the audience's toes tapping with hits from "Olde Time Westerns" to the fantastic "Mash Ups" from Glee.  Our Tots are excited to show off their pretty ballerina costume while our Senior and Junior classes have been working extra hard on the Opening and Closing numbers to keep everyone wanting more!  

With all the excitement and controlled chaos going on at The Perna Dance Center, one would think that we'd be too exhausted to do much of anything for the month of June but this year, we've decided to extend the Dance Year just a little bit longer with an OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday June 10th through Thursday June 12th allowing any Prospective and Current Dancers to TRY FOR FREE a new class or classes.  If your Dancer is currently taking Tap and Ballet but has been leary of Hip Hop, this is the opportunity to take a FREE class.  If you're preschooler has been dancing and twirling to the Frozen Soundtrack, we'd love to have her come in and try and Ballet class for FREE.  We're providing a class specifically for the Boys interested in dancing and showing their funky side!  For our older Dancers and any Transferring Dancers from other studios, we're having a Pointe Workshop, Hip Hop Intensive and a Tap Challenge class!  

If you are familiar with The Perna Dance Center because of our location or you've seen us perform at Hazlet Day or attended one of our Holiday Troupe Performances but you don't know much about us, this Open House is the best time to come into to our 4 studio facility and speak to our Dance Educators and Staff about our Program and Community involvement.  While we are not a competitive dance school, we are highly involved with our Dancer's communities along with taking trips every few years.  This year alone, we performed at Miss America "Show Us Your Shoes" Parade, Hazlet Day, Keyport Fall Festival and St Patrick's Day Parade, our Annual Holiday Troupe, Disney's Christmas Day Parade which aired on ABC, a private class with the Radio City Rockettes, a Flash Mob in Belmar for National Dance Week, Lincoln Center and of course it all ends with our Annual Production that rivals a Broadway Show!  We welcome preschoolers starting at age 3 for a Tot Class and go all the way up to Adult classes.

In the days to come, our Community Liaison will be visiting several local Pre Schools and Daycares in the Hazlet-Holmdel-Middletown area with invitations to our OPEN HOUSE TRY IT Week and vouchers for 2 complimentary tickets to our "QUIET ON THE SET" Production on June 7th and June 8th at Raritan High School.  Vouchers are also available for any prospective Dancers at our Main Office at 651 Middle Road in Hazlet.  When you come in for the voucher, you can also sign up for any of the FREE classes for which your Dancer may be interested.
