Obituary: Thomas Maher, 97, of Union Beach
Visitation for Mr. Maher will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735.
Thomas M. Maher, 97 of Union Beach passed away at home on February 3, 2013. He retired from the Seventh Regiment Armory in New York as a superintendant. Thomas was a communicant of Holy Family RC Church and was an active member of the Golden Age Club.
Thomas is predeceased by his wife Jeanette, sons Charles and John, also his brothers John and Charles. He is survived by his daughter Rosemary Maher of Union Beach and his best friend Skipper his dog.
Visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735. Funeral will be held Wednesday, 8:30am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30am Mass at Holy Family RC Church, Union Beach. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
