Obituary: Lilly Lee Wang, 63, of Holmdel

Wang worked as a computer analyst at Bell Labs, a nutritionist and real estate agent.

Lilly Lee Wang, 63, of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away on Saturday May 31, 2014 at her home of 26 years with her family by her side. 

Lilly was born in Taipei, Taiwan on October 9, 1950. She was born into a small close family as the first child of Prominent Dentist Dr. An-Yi Lee and his loving wife Lien-Hsiang Lee.

Even as a young child, Lilly was always bright and outgoing, and naturally excelled at her studies and made friends easily. She graduated from college in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei. 

Shortly after, she moved to the U.S to further her education with not only one Masters degree but two. A Masters in Nutrition from the University of Missouri and a Masters in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

With a strong educational background and a diligent work ethic she excelled in a number of careers as a Nutritionist, Computer Analyst at Bell Labs, Real Estate Agent, and VP of HR & Finance at York Telecom Corporation. 

Despite her many successful careers her biggest accomplishment was in her family. While at the University of Missouri she met the love of her life York Wang. They married in Los Angeles in 1975. Shortly after, they moved to Holmdel, New Jersey to start their family. 

Her self-proclaimed greatest source of pride was in their only son Philip Wang born in 1981. She taught him to be joyful, calm, faithful, generous, and grounded. Her thoughtfulness , generosity, and compassion touched everyone she ever came in contact with. Lilly is survived by her parents An-Yi and Lien-Hsiang Lee, her beloved husband York, her loving son Philip and his wife Ting-Ting Chiu, and also her younger brothers Billy and David Lee.

Lilly will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt. 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Friday June 6, 2014 from 5-7pm and Saturday morning June 7, 2014 from 10-12 pm. Her family will also be holding a Memorial Service at the Lincroft Bible Church 790 Newman Springs Road Lincroft, New Jersey 07738 on Sunday June 8, 2014 at 3pm.
