Obituary: Lillian E. Heyer, 96, of Hazlet

Church service to be held Tuesday at Christ Church, Middletown at 10 a.m.

Lillian E. Heyer, 96, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Regency Park Nursing Home in Hazlet. She was born Lillian Martin on June 24, 1917 in Matawan, where she lived the majority of her life. While living in Matawan, Lillian worked at the cafeteria in Matawan Regional HS for 20 years. She was currently settled in Hazlet.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents, George W. Martin and Florence (Van Arsdale) Martin; her beloved husband, Clinton C. Heyer; her dear son, Robert Heyer and 3 brothers. Lillian is survived by her loving children, Nancy Toretta and her husband Dave of Waterford, WI, Patricia Haefke and her husband David of Manitwoc, WI and Bernice Heyer of Matawan. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 N, Hazlet. In respect of Lillian's wishes, she will be privately cremated. Church service, Christ Church, Middletown, Tuesday, December 10th at 10AM. Lillian's cremains will be interred with her beloved husband, Clinton, at Old Tennent Church Cemetery in Manalapan.
