Christine DeAngelo, 87, of Hazlet, passed away, Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Laurel Bay Health Care, Keansburg.
Born in Kerens, TX, she resided in Keyport, before moving to Hazlet 15 years ago.
She was the Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics for the Borough of Keyport for eight years; and former President of the Bayshore Community Hospital Auxiliary in the early 1980s.
Chris was a homemaker, mother and grandmother, who loved to read and loved the Yankees.
Chris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert DeAngelo; and her parents, Sam and Vera Cook Crowley.
She is survived by her loving children, Josephine Farley of Union Beach; Albert DeAngelo, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Keyport; Michael DeAngelo and wife, Mary of Hazlet; and Amelia Hosier and husband, Jack of Keyport; her siblings, Weldon Crowley and wife, Patricia Crowley, of Georgetown, TX; and Charles Crowley of Gulf Port, MS; nine cherished grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
