Obituary: Mary Andrea Courtney, 55, of Holmdel

Mary Andrea Courtney, 55, of Holmdel, NJ, died on June 22, 2014. She was born in Long Branch and resided in Holmdel for the past twenty years. Andrea was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her 3 children; daughter & son-in-law, Robin and Scott Guy of Hazlet; son, Thomas Courtney and his partner Nancy Kwan of Jersey City; son & daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Silvia Courtney of Union; two granddaughters, Madeline Courtney and Amèlie Courtney; two grandsons, Aidan Courtney and Liam Guy; her mother, Barbara Hyneman of Atlantic Highlands; and her five sisters, Susan Iorio of Atlantic Highlands, Sebastian Ellis of CA, Deirdre Kelly of Middletown, Mary Barbara Crowell of Leonardo, and Mary Etta Gregory of Middletown.

Andrea was preceded in death by father, Robert Hyneman, in 2005.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm  at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2014 at 9:15am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at10:00am at St Agnes R. C. Church, Atlantic Highlands, and burial will follow at  Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
