Former Hazlet BOE Employee Barbara A. DeMarco Dies at 66
DeMarco was a communicant of Holy Family RC Church in Union Beach.

Barbara A. DeMarco, 66, of Hazlet, NJ, died on February 5, 2014 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. She was born in Elizabeth and lived in Hazlet since 1977. Barbara worked as a secretary for the Hazlet Board of Education for 25 years before retiring in 2008. She was a communicant of Holy Family RC Church in Union Beach.
Surviving are her: daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Gerald Payne of Hazlet; son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore Jr. and Monica DeMarco of Hazlet; sister, Carol Navarro of Elizabeth; and 4 grandchildren, Gerald III, Brianna, Justin and Dylan.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore DeMarco Sr. in 2007.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 3 to 6 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for 5:30 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
