Marilyn R. Cauldren, 81, of Toms River, passed away at her home on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. Born in Jersey City, she was formerly of Wayne before moving to Toms River in 1974. She worked as a database administrator for Bell Labs, Holmdel for 25 years before retiring in 1999. She was a master gardener through Rutgers University extension.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert 1986. Surviving are her children, Thomas and his wife Kathy, Lanoka Harbor, Robert and his wife Janet, Andover, Linda Cauldren, Monroe, & Kathleen Tompkins, Manchester; her granddaughter, Melanie Tompkins & great-grandchildren, Emily, Caroline & Morgan.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, with a funeral service at 8 p.m. at the Family Owned Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River.
