Exxon Station Owner Carmine Mason Dies at 82

Mason is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.

Carmine Thomas Mason, 82, of Colts Neck, died Friday at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Carmine was born on January 2, 1932 in Linden and moved to the Bayshore area in 1960. 

In 1990, he and his wife, Cindy, settled in Colts Neck. Carmine was the proud owner of the Exxon Station on Route 36 and Stone Rd in the Hazlet/Union Beach area.

He was predeceased by his parents, his grandson, his sister, and his brothers in law. Carmine is survived by his wife, his five children, his sister and his five grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet.
