Free Legal Advice Available at Sandy Fraud Task Force Clinic
The clinic, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Bayshore Activity Center in Port Monmouth, will have task force personnel from county, state and federal resources.
The Superstorm Sandy Fraud Task Force is teaming up with the Volunteer Lawyers for justice for a clinic at the Bayshore Activity Center, offering free legal advice to those dealing with Sandy-related fraud cases.
The clinic, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Bayshore Activity Center in Port Monmouth, will have task force personnel from the Prosecutor's Office, Department of Consumer Affairs, the FBI, IRS and the Division of Taxation.
Those needing help beyond advice provided by the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice at the clinic will be referred to outside counsel, according to a news release.
