Aerial Patrol Inspection of Power Lines..

Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L) have announced they will be performing their bi-annual aerial inspection of their overhead transmission lines Monday 8/1 and Tuesday 8/2.   Typical flight elevations are 300 - 400 feet to survey for tree enroachment into their easement and mechanical issues.   The helicopter will be flying approximately 25 - 30 mph over the lines and may hover at any time for a closer inspection.

JCP&L say they have notified all affected municipalities.
