Since Superstorm Sandy, many friends and neighbors have been volunteering time to local organizations to help relief efforts. Feeding first responders in the immediate aftermath, organizing clothing and cleaning supplies for those affected and helping homeowners organize and clear out their flooded homes.
I have met the nicest and most grateful people I have ever before. We are a stong community and will be right back into the daily grind as soon as the dust settles.
Please consider donating an hour, or more, of your time in your day to help relief efforts. There are many local organizations to get involved. Church groups, RAINE, High School students and every Police Department will have something that can be done. Our continued efforts will help us all get past this time and become stronger than ever.
