Did You Reset Your Clock? Daylight Saving Time Has Ended

Time to "fall back," as the saying goes.

Daylight saving time ended in the United States on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 a.m. local time.

This is the time of year local fire departments remind homeowners to change smoke detector batteries and make sure devices are in working order.

Officials are also warning that commuters should be especially alert and drive with additional caution after Sunday because normal driver commuting times will more closely align with peak deer activity periods after daylight saving time ends.

After "falling back" today we'll "spring forward" again on March 9, 2014.
