Good Dogs Looking for Loving Homes

Open your heart and home to a homeless dog or puppy and find your new best friend. Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters up and down the east coast. These precious pups are now looking for families that will love them forever!

Lacey is a beagle mix who just gave birth a few weeks ago and only 1 puppy survived.  She's timid but extremely sweet despite the rough life she's had.  She just melts right into you at the first sign of attention.  Such a gentle, affectionate girl who just wants a home she can call her own and settle into.  Lacey arrived on 10/17 and will be available for adoption in 3-4 weeks once her puppy is weaned.

Hermey was one of a litter of 5 rescued from a South Carolina gas shelter as a puppy. He thought he found his forever home but sadly finds himself looking for a new home again.  He looks like he has some shepherd in him and is very handsome. He's approximately. a year old, neutered and up to date on shots.  Hermey weighs about 42 lbs, obeys commands (sit, down, give me paw, stay, etc).  Needs reinforcement leash training and continued socialization.

Champ was in a gas shelter in North Carolina. He was pulled the day he was to be euthanized   He is a beautiful boy,  friendly,  strong,  and playful.   We estimate him to be about 2 years old.  He did have heartworm, which we are treating him for,  poor guy had a rough start on life, but he is great now.

Terry is a 2 ½ year old male pit mix. He weighs 45 lbs and is neutered. Terry is such a love bug. He loves to sit close to you and cuddle! At the same time he is a high energy boy that like to play as well. Terry is great with other dogs. In his current foster home he lives with 4 other dogs with the smallest one weighing only 3 lbs. Terry loves children as well. Terry came from a very high intake shelter in a rural county in Maryland. He is a sweet boy waiting for his forever home.

Chance was rescued in the nick of time, just before he was about to be euthanized for NO REASON, other than over population. That’s why CASTLE OF DREAMS named him Chance, because he has a second Chance at life, and he does not disappoint. Chance is eager to please and easy going. He loves to be petted and touched! Knows how to “sit” although the “stay” is a work in progress. Chance would make a GREAT family dog because he LOVES people.

Zoey, a sweet rat terrier mix,  rescued from shelter in North Carolina. Lots of energy, this pup is very affectionate, house trained and spayed. She's looking for her forever home!

Molly & Jake came from South Carolina.and were rescued and adopted as puppies. They were originally adopted together, but now after a year and a half find themselves looking for a home through no fault of their own, their current owners can no longer care for them.  Both are very well behaved, Molly weighs about 40 lbs, Jake 35lbs and both have been described as having a very mild temperament, great family dogs, good with kids, cats, people in general, and just a laid back pair.  They can be adopted together or separately.
