Donations for Clarence; Saving a Dog

Save a dog named Clarence

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue needs your help with raising funds for a beautiful Newfie mix named Clarence.  This dog is wonderful despite all his injuries.   Originally found as a stay and brought to a North Carolina Shelter. Clarence was badly matted and needed to be completely shaved down. He's been diagnosed with contagious mange, a painful, but curable skin disease.

Clarence has bite marks and open wounds, double ear infections, and it looks like he was hit by a car or sustained a blunt force type of injury to his back legs.  They are not sure if this is an new or old injury but xrays are being taken to discover the extent of the damage.

In spite of all his suffering, Clarence still has that sweet Newfoundland personality. He loves kids, people, and other animals.  No one knows why this happy, beautiful dog was dumped, but Castle of Dreams wants to do everything they can to get him the medical attention he needs. When he is ready they will find him a great home that will love him FOREVER!

Clarence is not able to be transported to NJ yet, he is too sick and needs to be treated before taking the long journey to New Jersey.  Clarence will be dipped for his mange once a week for 4 weeks and will make the trip to New Jersey when that is done.  He is presently with a wonderful foster family and getting excellent care. The foster mom says he sings and talks to her when she talks to him.  Such a sweet dog who gravitates towards children. He loves them!
