Gov. Chris Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie will stop in Monmouth's Bayshore Tuesday to mark the one year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.
The governor and his wife, who chairs the Sandy New Jersey Relief Fun, will make an afternoon trip to Union Beach. The borough was hard-hit during the 2012 storm, leaving many residents there awaiting demolition of their devastated homes.
The First Lady will arrive at Borough Hall, 650 Poole Ave., at 2:05 p.m. to meet, greet and thank volunteers, many of whom have been staffing a relief center there since Sandy struck.
Then, at 2:30 p.m., the governor will join his wife at a Scholer Road residence, also to thank volunteers.
