Thank you from Habitat for Humanity

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

On behalf of Habitat for Humanity, I would like to thank all of you for your gracious donations to our Habitat for Humanity partner families.  The response has been truly amazing.

All of the items requested for our two families have been donated including various furniture donations.  All of the donations included essentials needed to set up housekeeping: sheets, towels, pillows, silverware, pots, pans and more.  Through a personal letter to friends and neighbors, and several articles in local papers, the registry at Bed, Bath & Beyond was announced and so many in the Community participated.  The two Habitat for Humanity partner families were surprised and overjoyed with the support of our community. These gifts have provided much needed assistance after the devastation of “Superstorm Sandy” and have helped repair lives.  These families will start anew knowing they are supported and not alone.

Special thanks to Roxanne Napolitano at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Aberdeen, New Jersey.  She helped make sure the items selected on the registry were varied and well-priced.  Also it is important to mention those who donated items and furniture despite the fact that they were experiencing their own losses as a result of “Superstorm Sandy.”

I would also like to thank Holmdel High School, Theresa Graw, Eileen Orsini and Exit Realty.  Their generosity has been heartwarming.

Thank you notes and tax receipts for donations will be sent on behalf of the families and Habitat for Humanity.

Thanks for Caring!
