Surprising Photos of Deep Cut Gardens Sought for Exhibit

Deadline is Friday for "Off the Beaten Path at Deep Cut Gardens" exhibit.

With its 54 acres of flower beds, fountains, special trees and well-tended landscape, Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown is a photographer's paradise. 

For an exhibit planned for the month of January, the Monmouth County Parks System is calling for photos that "reveal the hidden world of this beautiful park with photographs of the lesser-known aspects, or photos of the familiar taken from a different perspective."

The show is open to photographers age 18 and up. There is a $10 registration Fee. Rules and entry form available at www.monmouthcountyparks.com (click on Deep Cut Gardens page). The deadline is Friday, Nov. 22. Entries are to be submitted on CDs and dropped off at Deep Cut Gardens, 152 Red Hill Road, Middletown, NJ.
