The holidays are shaping up to be something special for the Lee household.

On Tuesday night, Colts Neck teen Jacquie Lee earned enough votes to advance to the semifinals in NBC's singing competition, "The Voice."

Lee is a Ranney School student in Tinton Falls and entered the singing competition by joining Christina Aguilera's team. Locally, Lee won Freehold Idol this year in Downtown Freehold.

The 16-year-old is the youngest member of "The Voice" cast and has been meeting with a tutor during the days to keep up with her school work.

She performed "The Voice Within" on Monday's show.
