The Holmdel Police Department will participate in the New Jersey Special Olympic Law Enforcement Torch Run. The department has raised thousands of dollars for this cause.
The run will start at about 12:30 p.m., at Hwy. 35 and Palmer Ave; the runners will meet at the Palmer Ave Exxon Gas Station.
At this location, the Middletown Police Officers will hand the Olympic Torch to us, we then run approximately two and half miles along Hwy. 35 northbound and hand it off to the Hazlet Police Department.
