Jim O'Neill Fundraiser

     Jim O'Neill is a 27 year old, life long Hazlet resident who graduated from Raritan High School, and works at Costco Wholesale in Hazlet. Within the past year Jim has been diagnsed with Bile Duct Cancer and is in desperate need of a liver transplant.

     Jim is currently in Rochester Minnesota, waiting for a new liver. This past Monday, the doctors performed a scope procedure to inspect the area where the disease originated to make sure that it was cancer free. A positive test result would rule out the possibility of a liver transplant. Jim would then have to go through radation as well as chemotherapy for a second time. When a negative test result was recieved it gave hope that soon a liver will be found that is a match for Jim.

     Back home in New Jersey, a fundraiser is being held in order to assist Jim in paying for the medical bills that he has accumulated up to this point, as well as those to come in the future. The event is being held at Chili's Restaraunt in Holmdel New Jersey on Thursday, August 30th from 4-11pm. With the presentation of the flyer attached, 15% of everything you eat and drink (alcohol included) goes towards a donation for Jim. See you there!
