Hazlet Area Quality of Life Alliance (HAQLA) Meeting

Local residents are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Hazlet Area Quality of Life Alliance (HAQLA). It is a community-based, non-partisan, non-profit organization.

On May 2, agenda items include NATCO Park Restoration and the Monmouth County Open Space Program.

HAQLA'a mission, according to its website, "is to preserve our quality of life, to promote informed and thoughtful land use decisions, to protect our natural resources, and to promote government decision making based on open communication with an informed electorate and non-partisan public debate."

"We represent persons living in or owning property in the Hazlet Township Area and the Bayshore Regional Watershed Area. This area includes the towns of Aberdeen, Atlantic Highlands, Hazlet, Highlands, Holmdel, Keansburg, Keyport, Marlboro, Matawan, Old Bridge, Sayreville, South Amboy and Union Beach."

The meeting is held at 7:30 pm in the Hazlet Townhip Municipal Complex, 2nd Floor, Caucus Room.
