Holmdel Historical Society presents Holmdel's first guided cemetery tour through 3 landlocked cemeteries in the Pleasant Valley section of Holmdel. Tour the Schanck-Covenhoven Cemetery, Irish Catholic Cemetery & African-American Cemetery, visit the graves of Revolutionary Patriots, an African-American Civil War Veteran and rare pre-1800 gravestone art.
The Sons of Union Veterans of The Civil War will do a rededication ceremony at the site of 2 African American Civil War veterans., with several Civil War Enactors.
