Film Screening/Fundraiser at Duncan Smith Theater

The
Holmdel Theatre Company will be hosting a film screening fundraising
event this Saturday night, August 31, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Duncan
Smith Theater. The screening will showcase the film works of Holmdel High
School graduate and HTC regular, Nick Marchese. Nick is a film writer, director,
actor and singer who has appeared frequently at the Duncan Smith Theater. The
evening’s program features several of Marchese’s short films, including the  premier of Marchese’s documentary film
"Lockdown." This film explores the threat of school intrusions
through candid conversation and dialog with students, educators, administrators
and security experts. A Q&A session with Nick, his crew and several cast
members will follow the screening.

The
Duncan Smith theater is located at 36 Crawford’s Corner Road in front of
Holmdel High School. Showing starts at 7:30pm and Doors open at
7:00pm, and the screening will begin at 7:30. A $5.00 donation is suggested.

Please
come out for an enjoyable evening of film and conversation while supporting HTC’s
mission to keep student centered arts thriving in Holmdel. All proceeds will go
directly toward defraying the cost of recently completed structural repair work
to the historic barn theater.
