TOURS

Take a Guided Tour through the elegant Harding House, home of open space activist and philanthropist, Laura Harding.  Purchased by this former actress in the early 1930’s, the historic structure hosted movie stars of the day!  The tours are free but very limited; please get a Harding House Tour Ticket early, at the Welcome Center.  No one will be admitted without a ticket.

Tours of the glorious Bayonet

Farm property are also given regularly; no ticket necessary.  Please sign up at the Friends of

Holmdel Open Space
exhibit table.

Rain or Shine: COME HUNGRY!

Rain or shine, the Earth Day Festival is fun!  All shows take place inside lovely 75-year old barns on the property. This ever-growing springtime mainstay hosted 1,000 guests of all ages, last year.  Come hungry - and support future Festivals – by having a delicious lunch at the Red Barn Deli, where renowned homemade sandwiches are featured, and visit the Olde Fashioned Bakery to enjoy fresh cookies, cakes and breads to take home!  Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be on site, too.

Beautiful tee shirts proclaiming your affiliation with Holmdel’s most

bucolic park, Bayonet Farm, will be available.

Greenway Hike

Join former Holmdel Mayor

Larry Fink as he leads a hike through Ramanessin Brook Nature Trail, the former

“Chase Tract.”  This is a moderate,

hilly hike over some of the most beautiful parkland in the county; it ends at

Bayonet Farm in time for the Festival.

Hikers will meet at Holmdel Park lower parking lot, near the large Shed

adjacent to the pond at 10am.

Bayonet Farm is located at 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.

For more information, please call Carol at 732-946-9064.  Please note: this is a free and

non-commercial Festival.  Vendors,

please do not call.
