A Garden Grows in Hazlet
Garden State Players recently delivered shrubs to the Cullen Center. GSP wanted to give back to Hazlet Recreation, which has been supportive of many of the theater group's projects.
Garden State Players, a nonprofit theater company based in Hazlet, recently delivered plants to Hazlet Recreation Commission from Dearborn Market. These were planted on the grounds of the Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave.
The Players wanted to give back to Hazlet Recreation Commission, which has been supportive of the theater group's many projects. GSP's first musical, The Ever After, was performed at the Cullen Center in January.
Rehearsals for its upcoming summer musical, Footloose, are being held at the Cullen Center several times a week. Footloose will be performed at Raritan High School Aug. 10,11, 12, 17, 18 and 19.
