The Week Ahead: Charity Fundraisers at Friendly's and Houlihan's

Happy Memorial Day to all those who have served our country.

In Holmdel

Join the Holmdel Office of Parks and Recreation as they honor those who have served in all wars. The Memorial Day Parade will be held at the Memorial Circle in front of Holmdel Town Hall at 10:30 a.m. on Memorial Day. All are invited to attend this event and refreshments will be served. More information -->

The Planning Board meeting in Holmdel on Tuesday has been canceled.

On Wednesday, all Houlihan's restaurants will hold a fundraiser for The Special Olympics. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey. Please print the flyer found in this link.

The Board of Education is meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Dearborn Market to learn simple techniques to make the most delicious jams, preserves and marmalades from fresh berries. The class is Thursday at 5:30 p.m., $20 per person.

Take time to remember those who served our country by attending the Hazlet Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Veterans Memorial Park, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. More information -->

The Township Committee will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.

The Hazlet Youth Athletic League fundraiser will be at Friendly's in Hazlet on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please print the flyer in this link and bring it with you to Friendly's for dinner or ice cream and Friendly's will donate a percentage the proceeds back to the Hazlet Youth Athletic League.
