Pipeline Repair Closes Busy Road Section Near High School

A short segment of Crawfords Corner Road will be closed Monday after 8:30 a.m. The section is between South Holland Road (at the traffic light) and Longstreet Road (at Holmdel High School).

The road is closed for the ongoing NJ Natural Gas pipeline repair project snaking through town. J.F. Kiely Construction Company has not announced when it will be able to re-open the section of road, though a worker at the site Monday said it could be two weeks before they move onto South Holland.

Meanwhile, work that closed Longstreet Road is now completed and that road re-opened on Friday.
