Hundreds in Holmdel Without Power in Early Hours of Storm

Monmouth County is under a severe weather and flood watch.

Holmdel residents are already living in the dark, as the most recent thunderstorm moves through the area.

According to the JCP&L outage map, as of 10:30 a.m. over 300 homes and businesses are without power.

The latest estimation at power restoration is 12:30 p.m., according to the website. But the storm is expected to rage on through Thursday night and into Friday.

A briefing from the National Weather Service released at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday warns of warns of possible damaging wind, large hail, heavy rainfall and isolated tornadoes on Thursday.
