Hazlet Recreation Preschool Open House

The open house is designed to give parents and children an understanding of our classroom environment and curriculum. Prospective families can meet with our amazing teachers and explore the classroom. 

Hazlet Committee Meeting

The Hazlet Township Committee will meet at the municipal building at 1766 Union Avenue. Starting at 7 p.m., the committee may hold workshop meetings and executive sessions. Starting at 8 p.m., the committee will hold their regular action meetings.

Holmdel Committee Meeting

The Holmdel Township Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at town hall at 4 Crawfords Corner. The meeting is open to the public.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

Body Sculpt at Holmdel Community Center

Bring your weights and yoga mat to the Holmdel Community Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to achieve your get-in-shape resolution.

Craft: Hanging Globe Terrarium

The possibilities are endless when it comes to creating the perfect terrarium at Dearborn Market. It this addition of Unique Terrariums learn to make and care for hanging terrariums and all the vast varieties of plants and materials you can use. Enjoy some light hors d'oeuvers and refreshments while here.

Holmdel Kiwanis Weekly Meeting

Holmdel Kiwanis has been serving the Bayshore area of Monmouth and Ocean Counties since 1965. They work with many organizations throughout the year, holding fundraisers to support them and volunteering with them when needed. Holmdel Kiwanis also provides opportunities to serve for every member of the community through Service Leadership Programs. They sponsor two Builders Clubs at local Middle Schools and three Key Clubs at local High Schools. 

Holmdel Zoning Board Meeting

The Holmdel Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at town hall, located at 4 Crawfords Corner Road.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Toddler Storytimes at Hazlet Township Library

Enjoy storytime for children ages two to three and a half years old. The child's parent or guardian must attend the storytime. 

Preschool Storytime and Craft at Holmdel Township Library

Enjoy storytime and a craft for children of all ages throughout the day each Thursday. Children ages four to five are welcome at 10:30 a.m., children ages three to four are welcome at 11:15 a.m. and children ages three and a half through five are welcome on Mondays or Thursdays at 2 p.m.

Purchase Your Tickets for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Lunch

On Thursday, March 7 at the Holmdel Senior/Community Center a benefit lunch will held from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM. The price is $15.00 per ticket. Checks should be made payable to: Keansburg Trust Fund (Any additional donation is welcomed). This event is open to everyone. Tickets are available at the Holmdel Recreation office: 4 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel N.J. 

Holmdel Youth Lacrosse Sign-Ups

Registration for the upcoming HYAA 2013 lacrosse season for boys and girls grades K-8 are now being accepted in the HYAA office and by using the online form (credit card required). Registrations received after Feb. 28 will be subject to a $50 late fee. Go to HYAA.ORG to register. Lacrosse will be scheduled around baseball to avoid conflicting schedules.
