The NY/NJ Baykeeper recently added two new board members: Felicia Grant of Fair Haven, NJ and Stanley N. Alpert of New York City.

Felicia Grant, who was a resident of Rumson for twenty years, has been involved in numerous civic and charitable activities in her community. She is a mother of four and owns her own business, FG Design Solutions, a design and repurposing firm. Ms. Grant said, "As a lifelong resident of Monmouth County, I have a great love and respect for the waterways of New Jersey and joined the Board in order to support Baykeeper's work to protect, preserve, and restore those waterways".

Stanley N. Alpert is a partner at Constantine Cannon and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York and was Chief of Environmental Litigation.  Mr. Alpert has extensive experience with environmental law and is a LEED-certified Green Associate, bringing invaluable expertise to the Baykeeper board.  “Having worked as an environmental litigator, I respect NY/NJ Baykeeper’s varied strategies to protect the Hudson-Raritan Estuary,” Mr. Alpert said. He added, “When advocacy fails, they do not shy away from lawsuits when needed.”
