Sweet Success: Nardini Cupcakes

Middletown cupcake masters opening new store in Red Bank

Some might say that the business the Nardini Family of Middletown is in is sweet. And they’d be correct, literally. The family owns Cupcake Magician, a new mom-and-pop bakery slated for a grand opening in Red Bank on May 28, where a large variety of cupcakes to satisfy any sweet tooth are made.

Cupcakes are crafted and baked by the family’s John Nardini and Danielle De Bari, a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts.

“Truly delicious baking comes from the heart; and, our family is honored to bring the magical taste of cupcakes to our community,” said Roseann Nardini, Cupcake Magician proprietor. "We hope Cupcake Magician becomes a regular stop for Red Bank shoppers, employees, families and visitors, creating memories for everyone."

To get a true taste of the new bakery, you can sweeten the day with the grand opening Saturday, from noon to 3 p.m., at the store’s location at 54 Monmouth St., Red Bank. Cupcake Magician is also sold in Taliercios Gourmet Deli located on 544 Route 35 in Middletown.

For those trekking to Red Bank for the opening celebration, Cupcake Magician offers curbside service and free parking located behind the store. Bakery hours are Mondays through Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visit Cupcake Magician on Facebook (Cupcake Magician).

You can also contact Roseann Nardini at 732- 530-5700 with questions or for information on their special event catering.

Cupcake Magician magically bakes over 35 varieties of sweet, moist, rich cupcakes daily.

The grand opening will include free mini cupcakes, kids' giveaways, live music, a magic show, and face painting.

Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna will also be in attendance to officially welcome Cupcake Magician to the borough with a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon.

The family welcomes all ages into their new Red Bank bakery and is always available to answer customers' questions and even offer a baking tip or two.
