PNC Arts Center: Lots of Country Music, and Phish on Tuesday and Wednesday

June begins with Phish and ends with Smoke on the Water

Now that Sugarland has kicked off  the summer season at PNC Bank Arts Center, its time to look ahead.

The PNC favorite, Phish, has returned for a two-night, back-to-back, party and jam fest. The band comes to Holmdel Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1.  Get there early and enjoy the barbecues and bar atmosphere --  if you are into that. For concertgoers who plan on attending strictly for the music, arrive at the gates for 7 p.m.

The last chance to get your Country Megaticket is June 2. Country fans who plan on attending the Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw and Toby Keith shows throughout the summer should grab an opportunity to save some money and purchase the megaticket. For $127.20 (includes fees) you can get lawn seats for all four of those potentially sold out concerts.

By the end of the week, Country Music returns for its second straight weekend. Superstars Jason Aldean and Eric Church hit the stage on June 3. Also appearing with them is the Warner Brothers music group, the JaneDear Girls.

June is a slow month for the venue. Prolific "rock and soul" artists Hall & Oates play on the 8th and the loud, legendary rockers Deep Purple take over on the 10th.
