Holmdel TD Bank Grand Opening Saturday, April 16

The public is invited for the ribbon cutting and take a chance at a $500 cash drawing

The new TD Bank at 670 Laurel Avenue near Route 35 will hold a grand opening Saturday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  

Featured at the event is the ribbon cutting at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. drawing to win $500 cash, and a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. The bank will also unveil a giant wall mural inside the bank featuring a Holmdel photograph from the past. 

 There will be music, a balloon artist and souvenir photos with the Easter Bunny, say organizers. Free coffee, refreshments and food will be on hand. Pets are welcome. Holmdel Mayor Patrick Impreveduto and members of the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will be present.

The Holmdel store will be a "green store," according to a company spokesman. It is designed to use water and energy more efficiently, and meets high standards for sustainable sites, materials and resource use and indoor environmental quality. 

TD Bank has 18 branches in Monmouth, including nearby Hazlet, Middletown and Aberdeen. It is open on Sundays, offers free online banking, free online bill pay, loans, financing solutions and lollipops for children and treats for dogs. TD Bank is headquartered in Maine and is a member of TD Bank Group of Toronto, Canada,

The Holmdel store hours will be:

        Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 
        Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
        Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
