Minute Clinic Opens in Hazlet CVS

There is no appointment required for MinuteClinic services.

CVS in Hazlet has opened its MinuteClinic, allowing customers to get their medical diagnoses and medication at the same place.

CVS applied for the expansion in June and the Planning Board approved the installation of a two-examination room MinuteClinic within the store.

The MinuteClinic offers services from nurse practitioners who can diagnose illness and prescribe medications with no appointment required, according to a news release.

“Since opening the first store-based clinic in New Jersey in 2006, MinuteClinic has helped to expand access to high-quality, convenient and affordable care to thousands of residents at CVS/pharmacy locations near where they live and work,” said Andrew Sussman, M.D., president, MinuteClinic and senior vice president/associate chief medical officer, CVS Caremark Corporation.

The MinuteClinic walk-in medical clinic in Hazlet operates from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
