Hazlet Buhler Celebrates Reopening One Year After Fire

Hazlet's family owned car business Buhler Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram celebrated its reopening with family and friends today, a little over one year after a fire tore the building down.

During Memorial Day Weekend last year, Buhler caught fire in early morning hours, a phone call the Buhler family said was hard to believe.

The fire at the Route 35 dealership was ruled accidental by the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office, caused by a faulty battery in one of the cars.

On Monday, the owners and family issued plaques and thank yous to firefighters, township officials, customers and everyone who helped get the dealership back up and running.
