Goodnight Irene: Rib Rock Festival Cancelled
Impending weather puts the PNC Bank Arts Center show and rib fest on indefinite hold.
The BB King Rib Rock Festival which was scheduled to be held at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, Sunday, August 28, has been cancelled.
A statement on the festival's official Facebook page read:
"We regret to inform you that IRENE has ruined our weekend. Irene is Mean. Event cancelled. Both Jones Beach and PNC Bank Arts Center events have been cancelled. Thank you fans. We love you, we love ribs, we love rock, but we HATE Irene."
