Perna Dancers Head to Disney For Christmas Parade Filming
The 2013 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade airs from 10 a.m. - noon on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Today 37 local girls from the The Perna Dance Center are headed to Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World in Florida, where they will be part of a television special to be shown on Christmas morning on ABC.
The girls will perform two times. They will march in the daily parade on Thursday and then on Saturday they will film a production number with actor Neil Patrick Harris. Their dance will be choreographed by Tony award winner Christopher Gettalli.

The Perna Dancers were invited to join the parade after a successful audition this summer with Dance The Magic. The Perna Dance Center is located on Middle Road and Union Avenue, on the Holmdel-Hazlet border, and is under the direction of studio owners Hedy and Pat Perna.
