Holmdel's Annual Arts & Music Festival at Bayonet Farm

Plenty for art and music lovers to enjoy in a place of exquisite natural beauty. From noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine.

The Annual Holmdel Arts and Music Festival at beautiful Bayonet Farm will take place today, Sunday, Sept. 25, from 12 - 5 p.m. at  41 Middletown Road in Holmdel.

Over 50 juried artworks (many available for purchase) will be shown in the Red Barn Gallery while en plein air (outdoor) artists diligently work at their easels all afternoon, capturing the beauty of the lovely pastures and noteworthy structures. Potters will explain the wheel, hand building, the Japanese art of Raku and more.

This is the festival's eighth year. On Saturday, dedicated volunteers spanning generations were arranging decorations and flowers, erecting a massive tent, seting up chairs and tables and giving a final sweep to the magnificent barns and historic farmhouse.
