The Ever After

The Ever After premiered Jan. 27, 2012. Priority seating tickets were $15; general admission, $10; and VIK (very important kid) seating (limited), $15. Children attending the performances were encouraged to wear their favorite costume. Prizes were awarded for the best costume at each performance.

Once upon a time, in a kingdom not too far from where most of you live... a group of talented young actors came together to finish the story.

"The Ever After” is a fun family one-act musical that answers the question “What really happened after the princess rode off with the prince?” Set on the stage of Sally Jesse Donnatella Raphael, a popular daytime television talk show, that question is finally answered.

“This is the first production of the Garden State Players and we felt it was important to provide a creative theatrical outlet for children of all ages,” - Founder and Managing Director, Lauren Mathews Raad, Esq. said.

The Garden State Players is a New Jersey nonprofit theater company based out of Hazlet that provides an educational and creative outlet for people of all ages. G.S.P. is a philanthropic theater company that uses the performing arts as a fundraising platform to support local charities that effect our lives and touch our hearts.

“If you were to say to me six months ago, that I’d be directing a children’s musical with a cast of 20 kids, and be having the time of my life, I’d say you were crazy. They inspire me with crazy creativity and this truly has become a collective collaborative production,” said Chuck Cutaia, Artistic Director.

The cast is lead by Julie Zgola, Kaylin Iannone, Kerri Harnett, Caitie Horan, Makenzie Lowrey, Jamie Hoye, Katie Stoerger, Jessica Lomonaco, Nina Rosado, Ryan Horan, Brady Lowrey, Bridget Mackey, Gabriella Raad, Alexandria Gonzalez, Samantha Shubert, and featuring Jenna Del Mastro, Jaxon Shubert, Carlee Iannone, James Cannon, Victoria Durrett, and Sean Nelson.
